Resident
How is that even allowed? Surely that bedroom could be considered a fire safety risk and that price! The entire property is probably 1/4 of the size of my house. Whilst I own, similar properties are only ~600pcm in the area. I mean I live further out but how can they justify that ?
Gormenghast
Apart from the beautifully revealed beams, (how do you get to the other side? ) that add a certain charm, a 'rustic je ne sais qua' not found in other properties, and the staircase of death, and the magnificent view of the river in all its post-industrial glory, I wouldn't, as a selling point, describe it as "within walking distance of the universities and hospitals" As for the bijou bathroom and the general layout, where's the "No Cats Allowed ('cos there's no room to swing 'em") notice? However, it does showcase all the best things about the ever popular creative writing courses I've heard of. So you shouldn't criticise.
Pyrotequila
They could have at least painted the bits of plywood in the living area 🤦♂️

Wheres the hand rail/bannister, Also, I’m unsure if the rail in the bedroom that forms the edge of the ‘mezzanine’ is high enough… Trip over that “beautiful exposed beam” and you could easily be going over that. Delbow
What the actual hell. Something has gone very, very wrong when that is going for £825 pcm. Also, front door would "benefit from" some WD-40 unless you want to scare the crap out of trick or treaters.

That giant beam in the way is kind of an issue for emergency egress, especially for someone with mobility issues.
