Guest
We went in last night, seemed a nice place, but we were basically the only ones in there.
juhbuh
(at the risk of sounding like a stuck record) there was probably no-one there due to lack of cider! (sorry folks, it is my favourite tipple)
Crippen
I went in a few times earlier in the year, when they were doing their Burlesque nights. They were great. But it was very hot and smokey back then, so God knows what it's like now.
Tyranna
I have found it an excellent venue, but I think its a shame that 'Peek a Boo' has moved from there. I went to the opening night of Peekaboo at R.G. early this year, and enjoyed myself in spite of losing two new costume jewellery rings (I was the Drag Queen in the black dress by the way). Did anyone find my rings, which were in a small polythene bag in the Gents' toilet???? I'd be really glad if any of the staff or Management found them yet!!! I would like to see Runaway Girl giving some of us Drag Queens a chance to sing/perform cabaret on an occasional basis. I am currently Sheffield's best known Drag Queen, and do a high-quality cabaret with LIVE singing, not just miming.
