Before you fade away completely the name George Littlewood. Can you remember if he was a heavily built kid with black hair and had a sister called Margaret?

 

Not sure about the Sister, but the description of George is pretty accurate. But I suspect the hair is a different colour now.

George Littlewood lives down the road from me...and i think yes, he has a sister called Margaret..

Are you in regular touch with George? if so ask him if he want to Pye Bank school in the late 50's. And where is down the road from me? I have not seen him for many a long year now, he will be in his late 50's same as me. wouldn't mind chewing the fat with him.

yes, im good mates with George, he and my dad used to work together many years ago.!

 

He lives in s5...just down the rd from me...Lol..

Now I'm confused. The Littlewood I clearly remember as being tall, heavily built, dark, with a sister called Margaret, would now be in his 70's.

 

 

Thats def George, i know he's getting on abit....but he's def not in his 70's.!

Well let me put it this way john t, I am in my 70's and the Littlewood in question was in my class in the infants and juniors at Pye Bank. Could be that smack upside my head by Miss Glass put me in a time warp.

 

 

Could george have anothr brother, but with senior ? Gearge littlewood snior, junior...type thing...i will ask him when i next see him.!

 

but i also know his sister as well....so every thing but the age thing rings true.!
