Jive Knight
Just in case the reference to Sirocco dancing has confused you (it's nothing to do with either Volkswagens or Arabic winds), the reference was to Ceroc dancing, which isn't quite right as Ceroc is a company name and the dancing at Crookes is run by Blitz (http://www.blitzjive.co.uk). But it's Modern Jive, in exactly the same style as that taught by Ceroc. A lot of dancers refer to modern jive as ceroc dancing. It's like Hoovering with your Dyson. I can thoroughly recommend it - turn up any Wednesday or Thursday night at 7.30 (no partner necessary) and give it a try. Lots of fun, and a good social evening as well as good exercise. Jive Knight
No offence taken, firemangee. Just thought that if your post did interest anyone they might try to look up Scirocco dancing on the Web. Not sure what that would produce...!
