fuzzy
Does anyone know of a plumber that services hot water gas boilers in the Crookes area. I have had a look through this and all recommends seem to be other side of town or mobile numbers which don't give you a clue. I just think it is a little (haha you watch it be condemed) job and seems right to have someone local, and not haul them all the way across town. Any idea of what this should cost as well would be useful. Thanks Fuzzy

lalaland
I'd go straight for the Home Care service too from British Gas. We've used others in the past but since we moved to the home care service it's a massive peace of mind. We pay a few quid each month and our whole system is covered. If your boiler is knackered while a member they'll sort you a new one out free subject to their T&Cs. And we had a fault that nobody could fix before we joined their service. Their engineer came round and fixed it in no time, hence us joining! If you join the home care service after you've got a fault it's normally more expensive for the first year, but then goes back to normal price after that I think. So if anyone's reading now that's not on it and is thinking about it, join now (and no, I don't work for them, I'm just impressed and have fallen back on them a few times)
