The only place I know of for comedy is the place under Ponds Forge Swimming baths its called the Last Laugh, I am sure there are other places but I haven't lived here long myself. For live music you couold try West Street Live they have bands on most weekends and the Leadmil have got some of the bigger bands playing quite regularly, there are other places and i'm sure people will add to this thread.
