lady red
Hi I'm going on Friday for a work outing and I have had a quick look on google for people's views of the place and it seems quite mixed, although the majority of reviews have slated the place. What are other people's opinions of the place? Any dishes you'd recomm:help: end?

nick2
I seem to remember the wine list was good, I don't remember much more so it must have been.

Jazzybmzoo
I went with me missus about a year ago. Thought the food was good (without being excellent), the wine was superb but all overpriced. Al Carreto Chesterfield Road/Broadfield Road (opposite the HSS shop) is second to none, great food, great service and very reasonably priced. The cheese & tomato g/bread: words don't do it justice! Tarquin
Nice food/reasonable prices, but from my experience don't ask for an ashtray. They have them but don't like you smoking. You staring at me ?
absynthfairy
I really loved it here - didn't think it was too pricey at all. I had pancakes and they were yummy and the chef was very happy to rustle up something tomato free for me (I'm allergic) - keep meaning to go back but we haven't yet. If you didn't specifially want italian then Seasons on abbeydale road is amazing - traditional british fayre (not fish and chips mind)
