Sportsman Pub - Walkley

Just a reminder to any budding musicians (guitarists, keyboardists, singers and spoon rattlers).

 

Tuesday 15th August sees The Sportsman at Walkley hosting an Open Mic Night which is open to all.

 

Recently reopened, the pub aims to provide live entertainment weekly and this is a great opportunity for anyone to break the ice and get on stage and give a performance - irrespective of your musical ability. You can play what you want; the whole idea is to have a drink and a bit of fun.

 

I shall be 'hosting' the event but it's really down to YOU to come give us a song. I've held similar events in the Bull's Head at Ranmoor which were good fun.

 

It doesn't cost you anything except the beer you consume. The equipment is provided (but feel free to bring your own).

 

We should be starting around 9pm.
