W Wilkinson
Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me any information about a little cafe that used to be on Upwell Street/Owler Lane. Franks fishtank shop is there now or it may have been at the side of this cafe during 1950s or 60s.

He and his wife used to make brilliant bacon and tomato sani's . the whole of the premises which is now Frank "the tank " 's shop was the cafe , but obviously it was in better shape and much cleaner ( no offence to Frank ). cat631
I remember this cafe well and used it in the late fifties as I lived in the area. Albert Parr of The Grimesthorpe Feast Walk fame, was always in there.
