The event promises an exciting fight card featuring fighters from all of sheffield's clubs.

Brief Explanation of the rules:

All fighters will fight in the boxing ring and will fight with 10 Ounce Boxing Gloves. If a fighter is knocked down the referee will count to 10. A count of 10= Knockout & the fight will be stopped. 3 Knockdowns in one round and the fight will be stopped.

FULL CONTACT= Fighters wear martial arts trousers and padded kickboots.

In full contact , fighters will be allowed to Box and Kick to the body and head only.

ORIENTAL RULES= Fighters will wear Thai shorts/Boxing Shorts or MMA shorts in this discipline. Novices and Amateur fighters will wear the Leather shin and instep protectors (subject to both camps agreement).

In Oriental Rules, fighters will be allowed to kick to the thighs, to the body and to the head. Limited Clinching and use of the Knees is also allowed.

Exciting bouts that have already been matched.

TOP OF THE BILL:

Under Oriental Rules ,top of the bill bouts= NO padding!!!

Scott Sykes (SDUK ) Vs Dave Slater (university of Newcastle Thaiboxing club)

Last time this bout ended in controversy. Scott Sykes aims to set the record straight!

Alex McKenzie (SDUK) Vs Mike Gray (Karevo)

Both exciting fighters , Alex boasts an unbeaten record all INSIDE THE DISTANCE!!! Hopefully Alex will show his usual magic today!!!

Amjed "MANFREDO " Shaffique (AFK) Vs Ian McCabe (karevo)

Amjed got himself a nice little following at the old cagewarriors QUEST & FIGHTCLUBUK series of shows sharing the cage with Chris Freeborne and Scott Sykes early in his career.

This time he faces Ian McCabe who is sure to test his chin.

Prediction = A KNOCKOUT (who will do the knocking out??? We will see!)

The name Manfredo is due to his uncanny resemblance to the boxer Manfredo from "The Contender"

Under FULL CONTACT Rules we have ,....

Julian Bramold (Marsdens) Vs Hamza "Jet LI" Majeid ( Kurdistan)

Julian has won the BUMAC at nearly every event TKOing most of his opponents having only ONE loss at the BUMAC which was against Joseph Fanous from AFK which even so was after 3 hard bouts and an extra round.

Hamza "JET LI" Majeid is best known for his exciting and unorthodox fighting style incorporating flying kicks, somersaults, cartwheels,...etc (despite being a Freddie Mercury lookalike :P)

This guy is straight out of the movies!!!

The Undercard will follow shortly,....

More interesting matches on the undercard:

Rikky Veevers (Mavericks, Skipton) Vs Paul Cropper (Lau gar)

Another match that ended in controversy last time. Rikky is eager to set the record straight while the lau gar team are very confident of their chances.

Prediction: FIREWORKS!!!

All fight cards should be like this!!!

Jamie Shepherd (ROKARD kickboxing, yes really no kidding!) Vs Oliver Woolard (Lau Gar)

Both are black belts with a lot of light continuous bouts behind them.

Jamie with the superior hands while Oliver has better kicking and is tidier all round.

MaX Ellis (Lau gar) Vs Cant remember this guys name but he is a BCCMA kung fu champion from london.

A traditional kung fu stylist Vs a European standard semi contact points fighter.

More information will be available on other fighters when the time draws closer.

All the above matches are under FULL CONTACT rules.

Does anybody here want to make any predictions???

1. Who saw Scott Sykes' controversial match at Cagewarriors?

2.Who has seen Julian Bramold power his way to GOLD at the BUMAC Tournaments?

3.Who has witnessed Hamza "Jet Li " Majeid from Kurdistan catapult himself into the air or roll under a roundhouse kick ?

4. Will Clobo be fighting on the undercard or will she stick to foruming :P

Thats just it you see.

In Full contact circles we have to deal with trainers and managers first. Simon clearly said that he wants Julian to fight (he is matched) he also mentioned Jordan and Heather to have kids fights (3x1mins light contact) as well.

No mention of Chloe I actually asked he didnt seem bothered for now.

As for your injury, how can you fight injured???

Like i said before, you start showing commitment and fireworks in training and surely Simon will put your name forward. If not now there is always November.
