Hilda G Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 The Open Door Theatre Company is seeking actors and actresses to perform in their forthcoming production of Bash, a collection of three short plays by Neil LaBute. Iphigenia in Orem (1 man, aged 30 – 40): in a hotel room, a businessman confides in a stranger and reveals the chilling truth behind a family tragedy. A Gaggle of Saints (1 man, 1 woman, aged 25 – 30): a young Mormon couple reminisce separately about a re-union weekend where events take a violent turn. Medea Redux (1 woman, aged 25 – 35): a young woman confesses to her relationship with her high-school English teacher, and the ultimately tragic consequences of their liaison. The three plays are an intense and unblinking exploration of the intricacies of evil in everyday life.
