I was doing 40 in a 30 except there were no signs to tell you the limit had changed. The ticket read ' riding at 48 mph through Shalesmoor, Moorfields, Gibraltar St and West Bar. Was fined £6 at Sheffield magistrates court. My wages at that time were only £5 per week.
