It's a common theory that dogs shouldnt be given chicken bones but, lets be rate, how many chickens have been scoffed by foxes without a second thought? Reason I ask is I read on another thread that Katy gives her pooch chicken bones. I give our dog some of the carcass bones (but not the long limb bones for some bizarre reason) So once and for all. Hummybabe Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 my mum and dad used to give our dogs chicken bones as long as they werent the thin sharp type (like you get beside the one in a chicken leg).
