Blades Chat #5 Discuss United here

Recommended Posts

Sheffield United are reportedly considering a fresh move for Hibernian duo Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson in January.

The Sheffield Star claims that Blades manager Neil Warnock enquired about the highly-rated pair in the summer but ditched his interest after the SPL club refused to drop their valuation of their prize assets.

But Warnock has admitted this week that strengthening his midfield will be the priority in the new year transfer window, which could suggest that United make a fresh push to try and land both players.

United are not expected to be the only team bidding for Brown and Thomson, with Bolton and Middlesbrough also believed to be tracking the duo.

Has anybody seen them play? Are they any good?

According to reports in SPL they are decent midfielders & one can also play up front. We need to strengthen the midfield, a few other teams are showing an interest in them, but Warnock looks like getting in first & Joseph Desire Job wants to come to the lane, but Watford are also showing interest along with Middlesboro.

Sturrock get's the sack & 5 new threads open up,why can't the Owls supporters just stay on the the Owls Chat thread it seems reall daft to do this & Jazzy our ground is modern & up to date not falling apart like the team & owners of this once great club.I cannot imagine any up & coming manager taking over at Hillsboro because of the state it's in,why doesn't Allen sell the club & let's get both teams in the big time.WE ARE PREMIERE LEAGUE.
