canadablade Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 The team were magnificent today, we had to win against a tired and weakened Newcastle but a win is a win. The F.A. Gave Newcastle the option to play the game against us on sunday and they were also given the option to play the Carling Cup tie against Watford on tuesday put back a day to wednesd*y and they declined. So maybe they were a tired and weakened team but they chose to get in from Italy late friday night and still play the game saturday , and on the day we were the better team and deserving of the 3 points Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
