The Tattagee Man

Treatment

Recommended Posts

My Auntie used to talk about the ''Tattagee Man''.

He must have been around in the 1930's.

Apparently he used to call door to door and he would call out something like:-

'' Hey mamma teriggo, penny a la tattagee''. I don't know whether he was trying to sell something.

Has anyone else's relatives heard of this, or is this another figment of my imagination like Gunters Tinned Sausages?
