Macca
Hi, I new to sheffield and was woundering if there is any freindly poker schools who wouldn't mind an extra player. I would prefere a friendly game rather than the big casino games, as I tend to spend far too much money when I attend the casino. I thinking something along the lines of £20 - £30 for the night in some kind of winner takes all set up. But willing to go with any other kind of set up as long as the total stakes are no more than about £30. If nobody has a poker school already up and running that I can join, would anybody else fancy starting one with me. We would need at least 6 people to get a reasonable game going. I have chips, cards etc so just need the people. Let me know if there is any interest. Thanks Tom Hi Tom, my friends and I usually get together around once a month for a cash game, normally played in a sit-and-go format. We tend to have a £5 buy-in with no rebuys and winner takes all. Obviously the amount of games we play depends on numbers/length of games but the most we have managed has been four. 1,000 chips, 10/20 blinds with 15 minute levels. PM if you fancy joining us some time. Cheers Neil
