mature5011
Does anyone have any pics of Redgates toyshop. I've looked on the net but can't find anything, just a couple of forums. Those were the days, going to town on a Saturday with my mum, nan and bro and going into Redgates, it was magical. If I win on the lottery I'm going to reopen it just as it was back in the 70,s and 80's. FAB. REDGATES RULED. No pics but there last shop is still there on furnival gate last occupant was the yorkshire coop

Jules1000
I saw on Facebook the 'Shopaholics guide to 1970's Sheffield' which could have pictures in it - the Chairman of Redgates is shown on their page.
JenC
I saw on Facebook the 'Shopaholics guide to 1970's Sheffield' which could have pictures in it - the Chairman of Redgates is shown on their page. That's a great book (even if you weren't around in the 70s, like me) and there are a few photographs in there of the interior of Redgates, maybe three or four.
