Timbuck Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 I come from Shiregreen and I ' ve just seen a Story on TV about exam results at Firth Park Community Art collage..I recognised the location as Hatfield House Lane School at Shiregreen ..When did Firth Park Move up to Shiregreen and who changed the name??? Allen Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Many years ago (when Firth park grammar school went comprehensive) the two schools amalgamated. They were known as Firth Park North (ex Hatfield House Lane), and Firth Park Brushes. Sadly the Brushes was eventually left to decay...and was eventually burned down by arsonists. They built a huge carbuncle in it's place! It's only about 2 years ago when the name Firth Park Community Art College appeared at the former Hatfield House Lane site.
