You have the ceremony right in the council chamber and it is very impressive. Has a big staircase leading up to it and nice steps outside the building for photos.... Bit of a trek obviously. hauxwell Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 I went to a wedding at North Sheilds Registry Office and was pleasantly surprised. The building and decor was lovely. The wedding was on the top floor of the building so when you looked out of the windows there was a fantastic view of The North Sea and the River Tyne flowing into it.
