farmer
It was "The Heartbeat" in the very late sixties and the only night club that was open, in Sheffield", on a Sunday evening.
pattricia
It was heavy, I'll grant you............for years afterwards I walked with a stoop. I won't describe:hihi: what medical condition the tight crutched flared trousers inflicted upon me but.............I never recovered my reputation. Sounds as though you were a medallion man to me !!!!Flared trousers & a Maltese Cross.?

Nigel Womersle
It was "The Heartbeat" in the very late sixties and the only night club that was open, in Sheffield", on a Sunday evening. Absolutely spot on. I used to go there every Sunday night. I still have my membership card.
shoeshine
I've been thinking further on this one, and I believe it was just before Christmas 1973, so that would make the "Stars" at that time, wouldn't it?

Bushbaby
I have a foto, from The Heartbeat days, of a mixed race band (The Equals?) playing on top of the small veranda above the front door. (It really was very small and didn't look at all safe)

coyleys
I remember going to the Heartbeat around 1970 with a bunch of mates. The bouncer singled me out and asked my DOB, I was so drunk I couldn’t remember. He let all my mates in but not me, ironically I was the only one that was 18. Good, Good, Good old days.
