Claywheels lane is an area of dereliction and uncannily enough in my letter of support for the project to develop it I said that to say no would resign the site to a further 20yrs of dereliction including burnt out cars ect! Okay so I wasn't thinking as big as a huge factory fire but thats what happens when a huge industrial wasteland is left to its own devices. There have been fires on that site regularly, though not to the extent of yesterday. Knock it down and go with the development plans, before we have another warning from the fire brigade to stay in our homes. Two totally un related incidents on the same industrial estate in a couple of months. I'd take some nice little houses any day.
