Next Match: Strauss (Cpt) Cook Bell Joyce Pietersen Collingwood Read (WK) Mahmood Hoggard Plunkett Panesar So in short Giles out, Harmison out, Anderson out, Flintoff given time off to rest his ankle. Yodameister
They didn't really do anything wrong until today, and what they did wrong was not score any runs - if they scored at even a modest 2.5 to 3 an over and batted 2 sessions then Australia would have struggled to win. James7x7
Did that really happen? Someone tell me it was just a bad dream. I feel for Collingwood and Hoggard - to have put in performances like that and still end up on the losing side is harsh.
barnie41
Giles, when Ponting was on 30 odd - he's a class act. All we need to do now, is take 5 wickets quicly, rattle up another 150 or so, then get the aussies all out inside two days. A draw I think, this time, then hammer them next test, just in time for Christmas. What do I know? Glad I didn't put any money on my wonderful prediction. Changed my mind - 5 - 0 to Aussie now. We're crap and I'm not watching any more cricket until April.
MickM
Well last night was a disgrace, 10 people chosen at random off of this forum could have even got the draw. The best form of defense is to attack and 90 odd runs off 50 overs says it all really, we as good as handed them the victory by playing so negatively. SpeedwayDan
absolute disgrace, had to go to bed at the lunchbreak fearing the worse after seeing flintoff and pietersen go so cheaply, but i still thought we'd be ok for a draw
