Protekt
Thanks for the reply, I dont have enough posts to PM a reply. Could you please tell me what a Praying Mantis training session consists of ? Is there any pad and bag work ? i would also like to improve my cardiac fitness, how tough are the sessions. Thanks. chefkicker
Hi Projekt I run kickboxing classes in the city centre, at sheffield hallam uni and at sheffield uni. We have classes every day except Saturday(so far). Give me a ring on 07775 914155 and we can chat about what level you are at with your striking and hence what classes to go to. Cheers Farhad
chefkicker
Most of the training is based around padwork and bagwork. Lots of cardio is involved , many people do it for fitness mainly but there are more advanced classes that have a lot of sparring. Hope this helps. Davemantis
We do 2 types of classes’ the Tuesday night class focuses on application and self defense ie (locking, Kicks, Punches, knees, elbows, takedowns & weapons work) the other on a Thursday is more traditional i.e. a lot of basics (Hard Class can be very demanding) we also do a Sanda class after that class where we cover things like (pad work, takedowns & sparring).
