Sheffield Music Scene - Who are the best bands/artists?

Saw poke not long ago, still going strong. Their singer, Richard Masters, is playing the Grapes on Weds too.

 

Good bands from round these parts... Ormondroyd, Dead Like Harry, Less Than Zero, Tommy Binks, Fat Truckers, Kings Have Long Arms, Rumpus, Poke, Champion Kickboxer, Skydiva, Chicken Legs Weaver, Hiem, Midnight in Moscow, Repomen, The Moon, Lava Kayak, The Motherf*ckers, Chuck, Texas Pete, GG Action, Velodrome 2000, Paraglider, Kimeera, Bhuna, Fixated, Two Star Rival, Mybe, Catch-it Kebabs, King Palooka, thisGIRL, Fake Ideal, This Floating World, Beachbuggy, James Brodie, Fudge, 1600e, I Monster... more than you can shake a stick at really.

if u like music like afi and vanilla pod then go to the grapes on monday at 7:30, a new local baqnd called six foot nothing will be playing and from what i've heard of them they are really good n i'll recomend them to anyone
