He used to practise in the council owned courts on what was called ' the old 'ollar ' between Crooksmoor school and Mushroom lane. I think they were where the Philadelphia flats are now, or maybe just a little higher up.There was a road down to the 'ollar from Mushroom Lane called 'The Canada', opposite the end of Powell st.
