RozeePozee
Any views on which pub/s are best? Not too busy, decent beer and with good viewing? We usually go to the Lescar but it gets so busy, or the Bulls Head on Fulwood Road. Preferably within walking distance of Endcliffe Park area
hacker
They're all rubbish around Ecclesall Road, Lescar is OK but crap for watching footy. Perhaps The Banner Cross further up Ecclesall Road is best bet near you.
Bilge
Banner Cross definitely a good option for football - ticks all boxes. Can get busy though for big games (but anywhere does).
djames
the psalter tavern tends to be slightly less busy than the lescar. there's also the snooker club right next to the lescar.
webbud2
nursery is ok bit of a walk but you can buy wine by the bottle good prices serve nice grub but need to be in early and if its to packed you can just pop across the road to varsity or what ever its called it used to be the slug and fiddle if that's full get in the sports bar not been in there much think its a bit expensive united players go in sometimes you could always change bars at half time
