2pbusticket
I'm organising a night out in Sheffield for my brother's 40th and wanted to go round some of his old haunts. I've not been out in Sheffield for about 10 years and wondered if any of these places were still there? The Bee Hive The Hallamshire Hotel The Hornblower (I think this has closed) Frog & Parrot Mr Kites (I think this changed its name) Any other suggestions if none of these now exist??? taxman
The Hornblower was knocked down. The B-Hive and The Hallamshire are unrecognisable and have been re-named. The Frog remains the same and Mr Kites looks the same as it always did. If its proper beer you're after then you might be better venturing into the Kelham Island area. If you want to drink lager and act like students then West St will be fine for you

pippadoll
Mr Kites, is now the Green Room. Looks the same, but isn't really the same.
