My name, is David Miller and worked in upstairs drawing office alongside sales and estimating offices. There was a printing room for drawings at the top of the stairs and I think a Mrs Shales worked there and also made teas for the offices.

The chief draughtsman was Harold Williamson, who was also very artistic and just before Christmas produced many painted cartoons for the office party.

I think the drawing office staff were Jim Tearle, Harold Jackson, a Mr Osbourne,a person called "Mac" and myself. There was a typing pool at the end of the office and I think a Mrs Osbourne did typing for Harold Williamson.
