kingfisher Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 I remember a chap selling Billy,s Weekly liar at the top of dixon Lane he had a board saying Sheffield United sign a new centre forward(this was 1937 or 38 when United had transferred Jock Dodds to Blackpool ,I read the paper back to front several times before the penny dropped there wasno mention of a new centre forward-- ever been had.
