UnkleBob
Does anyone know/remember anything about this? I am 35 and i lived on Park Hill flats till i was 13 or so and have a vague recollection of wild, nasty cats living and breeding in the scrubland off Park Square roundabout and a culling that eventually took place. It may have been late seventies, but more likely early eighties. I would like to read from the archives of any local papers, so i'll look at those too but if you have any links or info that would be great! Plain Talker
no, Unkle, the cats weren't culled, (IIRC) they were captured, and particularly the younger ones were rehomed

I thought they were sterilised or something, and if the recaptured ones weren't put to sleep, what happened to them?
