Karlos
Does anybody know the rule when it comes to cardio / weight training when you have a cold?? Some people tell me that you shouldn't train at all while others say you should cut out cardio and just weight train (or vica versa). The trouble is that when I have a cold from start to finish it can last anywhere between 3 - 6 weeks - I can't not train for this lenght of time. Any advice would be appreciated. evildrneil
Theres little point training while in the depths of a cold - you'll just be diverting resources from recovery and making it last longer not to mention dropping youre white cell count and making yourself succeptible to further infection. Probably bets to just grit your teeth and get some quality couch time!
Karlos
Thanks for the advice even though I was kinda wanting somebody to tell me it is fine to train through a sniffle!
evildrneil
If it's a minor sniffle your fine - if your running a fever or feeling run down with it then it's probably counter-productive!
