Snook
I really like slow club, their music is really been growing on me over the last couple of years. Shame they haven't played Sheffield for a while.

Lillie
The Cherokees are a brilliant live band, never heard them play a bad set...I just wish they played more gigs. http://www.myspace.com/thecherokees I also love Little Man Tate...can't believe they haven't made it 'big'. The Headliners are great too...going to see them at The Boardwalk next Monday.
Adri
Depends what genre you like. My favourite for rock has to be Hellhound http://www.myspace.com/hellhoundrockband (Alex Oliver, Mick Shedd, Jansen Ward - some covers, many original tracks),and for blues, Steve French Band http://www.thestevefrenchband.com (Steve French, Sheena Savage, Paul Mallatrat - Hendrix/Vaughan covers plus original material). __Iain__
We're giving 5/6 of the best bands in Sheffield and South Yorkshire the chance to play Raw Talent Live at a very special venue on December 2nd.. Tune in to next Thursday's Raw Talent to find exactly where, and how to get on the bill if you're a band. The event will be FREE and we'll also tell you how you can register your interest if you want to come along on next week's show. The night will be recorded and played out on BBC Radio Sheffield, across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire on FM and DAB, and across the world on the internet.... We'll also be filming it.. Cheers Iain
HughieD
I also love Little Man Tate...can't believe they haven't made it 'big'. Erm, they've had about 5 Top 40 hits, can tour the UK and fill medium size venues and nearly sold out Blackpool Empress Ballroom last year. I'd say that's pretty big in the grand scheme of things!
