did anyone frequent this club in the 70s.

Looking for barbara , married to phil.

phil had a sister called rita who worked at hiram wild's.

barbara lived with her mum and dad on liberty hill stannington.

she use to work for eschmann brothers and walsh.

I remember

Paul Wragg ( Brilliant gaffer/ Great guy/ my Hero from wot was my first job / took me for my first pint at pub at the end of Corporation street BROWN COW / he lived at Stannington / When Eshmans finished he set up with Brian Hallas a company called hallas & wragg / I remember repairing his Ford capri 3 litre in the days of 5 STAR PETROL / I also remember going to see him at Hallas & Wragg one day, there was only Brian there, i though Paul was probably out getting work?, After approx 10 mins Brian asked me if i knew?. Wot i replied. Then he told me that Paul had died. I was gutted Sill miss him now :( RIP Paul, I know i will meet with you one day).

Sorry for going on so much , i got carried away in my memories

Burnaby Street was a great little cub, remember big Brian (sadly no longer with us) He was a good concert sec who got some of the best turns around.

They had a decent football team late 60's early 70's.

As a kid used to go on the trips to skeggy, Cleethorpes etc.
