DUFFEMS
High Storrs School, used to be High Storrs Grammar School. I believe it's an art deco bldg. In the process of being demolished as a new one is currently being built.
Plain Talker
In the process of being demolished as a new one is currently being built. that's not quite correct, I believe they are keeping the façade, and the clock tower as they are listed, and actually very pretty. they've demolished the art block, and dining room extensions from the 1960s/70s, and the caretakers cottage, but the building itself is to be preserved. Plain Talker
Ah, yes. I just found it on Google street view. It's a pity the windows have been modernised as I'm sure they would have been curved windows with horizontal strips originally - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Cloonmore+Dr,+Norton,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S8+8JN,+United+Kingdom&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=14.118794,39.506836&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=FRHQLQMdxr3p_w&split=0&hq=&hnear=Cloonmore+Dr,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S8+8JN,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.333308,-1.458392&spn=0.006958,0.01929&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.333247,-1.458286&panoid=Yv13s71owWqkWSQMvWlUtA&cbp=12,28.62,,0,-2.25 You can only get a glimpse of the house on Springfield Road on street-view, but it retains the original windows and has obviously been lovingly looked after by its present owners - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=springfield+road,+sheffield&sll=53.333244,-1.458285&sspn=0.007009,0.01929&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Springfield+Rd,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S7,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.351294,-1.50665&spn=0.006955,0.01929&z=16&layer=c&cbll=53.351365,-1.506734&panoid=h0TGkKvGfLr8ngEtkyn9Ug&cbp=12,229.4,,0,-9.42 these semis are pretty much the same as the detached A_D property and only round the corner:- http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=Cloonmore+Dr,+Norton,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S8+8JN,+United+Kingdom&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=14.118794,39.506836&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=FRHQLQMdxr3p_w&split=0&hq=&hnear=Cloonmore+Dr,+Sheffield,+South+Yorkshire+S8+8JN,+United+Kingdom&layer=c&cbll=53.331561,-1.463157&panoid=wbLDZPfuVttr-amT5_jUFg&cbp=11,136.74,,0,-0.51&ll=53.331565,-1.463156&spn=0.004267,0.01929&t=h&z=

There used to be a great Art Deco building next to the Meadowhead roundabout, but it's been totally bolluxed up and extended so you can't even tell what it used to look like.
