Art Deco buildings in Sheffield

High Storrs School, used to be High Storrs Grammar School. I believe it's an art deco bldg.

that's not quite correct, I believe they are keeping the façade, and the clock tower as they are listed, and actually very pretty. they've demolished the art block, and dining room extensions from the 1960s/70s, and the caretakers cottage, but the building itself is to be preserved.

Ah, yes. I just found it on Google street view. It's a pity the windows have been modernised as I'm sure they would have been curved windows with horizontal strips originally -

You can only get a glimpse of the house on Springfield Road on street-view, but it retains the original windows and has obviously been lovingly looked after by its present owners -

That would be a great building if it was restored properly. There used to be a great Art Deco building next to the Meadowhead roundabout, but it's been totally bolluxed up and extended so you can't even tell what it used to look like.
