The DnR Live website is hopeless - it doesn't list any gigs or say where the venue is. Can someone tell please me a) Whether The Briefs are indeed playing there tomorrow and b) Where the venue actually is! Bilge Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 "DnR Live" (always a terrible name) is underneath the Boardwalk on Snig Hill just down from Argos. It was closed but I think is reopening or is open already? The entrance is a bit further down the hill from the Boardwalk's entrance. It used to be called 'Under the Boardwalk' and also 'The Point' (this sign, almost falling off, was still there last time I looked). maelstrom Posted December 6, 2006 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Yeah, The Briefs are playing at the 'D+R Bar' on Thursday night, one of the support bands is B.S.D (Burn, Subvert, Destroy), I don't know about the others but there should be at least one other. It's also £5 in, and I presume an 8pm start. The 'D+R Bar' is the old 'Bar 101', which is down from the Odeon on Arundel Gate going north, towards Primark/Co-op etc. I think the old 'D+R Live' (f.k.a 'Under the Boardwalk') might have re-opened but I don't know under what management or name.
