Cyclone
No, I avoid going to smoky pubs, but soon I won't have to and you'll get fined if you light up. I'll be much happier, and you can go smoke somewhere else.
willman
Do you ask those who smoke in your local, to put their ciggies out, because you frown upon it? Id just tell you to f*** off. he won't have to ask soon.
Darbees
If I go to pub on way home from work my partner can tell because I smell of smoke. I don't want that.

bhunaboy
does smoking marijuana count? i remember that it used to be only hippies/students/thinkers that smoked the weed. now, it seems to be associated with 'chav' culture and the lower classes. some guy was skinning up on tram the other day, not trying to hide it or anything. some old fella was trying to have a go at him but it was falling on deaf ears. it was quite amusing to be honest. willman
Do you honestly think people will adhere to the new law? I for one, and countless others shall not. of course you won't. as its unlikely you'll try to smoke in any of the pubs i drink or eat in , it won't be an issue. but nothing would suit me better than to report the licensee - i couldn't give a stuff about the smokers, when the pub is threatened with loosing it's license - the landlord will ask you on my behalf. miss1889
I don't think that is the issue, The original threat advises 'scrubber's, I think this is ment to mean, people who do not work and hang around pubs allday, You know the kind of people we mean! I was actually referring to em2007's post
