KingdomSp
Right, Lets put all these rumours to one side and tell you lot the truth.... Kingdom's last night is NEW YEARS EVE, the venue is closing for around 6 months for a Major refurbishment. We are not moving to Roxy's or any other venue. we will be staying our current location, and the club will be transformed into a state of the art clubbing experience for Sheffield. Tickets are now on sale for a very last night(New Years Eve) Prices start from £10 and rising to £15 over the 2 weeks. you can purchase tickets throughout the day or on any night time session. Many people have criticized the venue on this forum and all your comments have been taken on board. Thanks for all your support over the last six years and lets make New Years Eve the best party ever.... Kingdomsp

raskel
I've been to Kingdom for the last 3 New yrs eve's (1st one wasn't legal... but ah well, hehe). Wasn't going to go to this one, but seen as it's the last one... will be a top night, like all the others!
slimsid2000
Can you get Her Majesty The Queen to perform the re-opening ceremony next summer?

That's probably why they say the rumours are true so they sell more tickets for NYE. 6 months is a bit long to be closed for a refit especially when in 2 - 3 years time there will be no kingdom and the area will become a building site for the New Retail Quarter. raskel
I wonder if it will still have the same music? Or is it changing to a different audience?

Twoflags
It's about time the place got refurbished, does this also mean that it will no longer be a youth club?
donuticus
Is this turning into an Oceana ?
dosxuk
No. Oceana applied for planning permission over the summer for what is currently Currys at the top of the moor. Plus, Oceana is a Luminar brand, and Kingdom is still owned by Brook Leisure.
