specialk
My granddad lived at 471 Hastilar Road in 1951. His name was Hugh Dronfield. I didn't know him. Did anybody live near that number who might remember him. What were the houses like. He also lived at 273 Queen Mary Road around 1940 - 1945. LindaandKarl
Our family lived at 57 Fairfax Road until about 1951. My parents were Len and Dorothy Potts and they lived with my grandparents - Clara and...? Damn this alzheimers. We were friendly with the Winchurches who moved to BaseGreen quite close to us. I remember Beryl, their daughter. there was a Mrs Smith, next door I remember and someone called Christine - about my age. I was Linda and went to Standhouse School. Intersting to read about someone who lived in the same house after us.

Buster
Hi Buster, did the Thistlewaites live next door to you at 63 Don't recall there being a 63 when I was there. We were the last house with a rather long side garden. I guess it may have been built on after we left there?
