Ally68
Good riddance to him we don,t need players like him at hillsborough anyway. Would be nice to make a cheeky 500,000 bid for him if they get relegated though
canadablade
Go back and look at the attendance for your game. Oh and if saying something like 'I thought you might have had more there if you are pushing for the play-offs' isn't a sly dig at the Wednesday fans I dunno what is! QUOTE] Too bad more people didnt think it refreshing enough to go to an old fashioned stadium, how many wednesday*tes went ? Cardiff had the 8th worst attendance out of the 9 matches yesterday, thats strange considering they are having an ok season and in with a real shout of the play-offs ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show me where I am having a dig at wednesd*y in the above statement from my earlier post. :loopy: I aksed Geocol how many wednesdayites went and was suprised the attendance was so crap considering they (CARDIFF) are having an ok season and in with a real shout at making the play-offs. Read posts a little more carefully before telling people what you think they put Sorry forgot to reply to your question about our attendance ... We had 32,572 which was the 3rd highest of the 8 matches played on saturday only beaten by the 2 London derbies Chelski vs Spurs and Arsenal vs West Ham.. CorkerSWFC
Partly due to the fact that all the clubs with bigger stadiums were either away or not playing.
Lestat
Sorry to say this Canada, but things at Hillsborough are alot happier than they are at the sty at the moment. Wednesdayites are full of praise for their team, even if we dont go up, we've had a good season. Wednesday are not fighting for survival, they're not making excuses every week, our manager is not blaming the referee all the time and most importantly - we are not losing games week in week out. Your lot are out of their league, playing poor and looking for excuses. It's now the blunts like yourself that are bringing up crappy arguements about attendances when all season long you've blamed us for doing it. Like I said, it's a great time to be an Owl. We are simply - happier than your depressing lot. Up The Owls!

Not so long ago there was a protest to get rid of Allen, uproar when King Sturrock was let go and no wins in 2007 till The last week of February. You have had a good season, very inconsistant but mid table could be classed as a good season. Theres NO CHANCE of you going up this season. Of course you are not fighting for survival, you are in the Championship, We knew we would struggle and everyone said we would be happy with 17th and theres still a good chance of that happening, too bad we lost Hulse its going to be a whole lot tougher without him. I still think with West Ham, Watford and Wigan to come to BDTBL we can avoid the drop. Sorry to dissapoint you lot that we didn't do a Sunderland, Sir Neil is still in charge and theres a chance we can stop up and lastly I wanted to know why the attendance was so crap at Cardiff, no malice just an honest question. surfinjim
Anyone out there at this time in the morning? Opinions please on Leon Clarke? After seeing him today for 63 minutes, I have my own opinion of a centre forward who is 6 foot plus and wins one header all game. Other words I'd use to describe his performance today would be slow, inept and incapable. My mate on the other hand thinks he's a cracking player. He thinks that Brunty will supply the ammo for him. I did point out at this stage that you have to get into position to meet that ammo. Thoughts please..... Thought Wood was outstanding today. freyasdad
[(infact I'd love to know what he is on about!). Well let me inform you lot. A friend of mine works for the chairman of your team and happens to be one of your lot so no reason for him to come out with some of the things that he does. Certain facts were said ,and how he is spending MILLIONS of pounds refurbishing his casino in London. Now can you say that about wendy? If you want things in simple terms then just ask and i will oblige. When i come out with an opinion it is because even though wendy are not my team i still get to find out what is happening in s6. By the way good result against the tractor boys i for one didn't think you would win that one.

I have been critical of him in the past, but he was much improved - held the ball up well (although his first touch is not brilliant), and interchanged some good passes, and worked very hard for the ball. But he didn't get on the end of anything though. Wood had a very good game. Whelen was also excelletn. Bullen played well, but Spurr was a little below par.
