A friend of mine has torn his Banjo string ( Frenulum ) and is worried if it will ever heal. Because obviously he isn't going to come on here and ask for advice , I thought I would.

Will it heal on its own or will it need medical attention.

Are his banjo playing days over?

I was informed that when it happened it made a popping sound.

Then there was blood everywhere followed by a little scream.

A LITTLE scream? A popping noise? How glad am I at this moment in time that I'm a woman? VERY!

Give me sitting down to pee any time over stuff like this!!!!

Happened to friend of mine, but apparently the doc just said it'll curl up and drop off....no worries. Haven't heard any updates mind so I presume it's all sweet.
