chickywiggle
ok, my dad's comin up next weekend and wants to spend the day out on the trams. (they are still a novelty for him). Thought we could leave car at middlewood P&R, go to Crystal Peakes (he's been to meadowhall). What's at Malin bridge is it worth goin down there? Can you think of anywhere that makes for a good stop off point? What I'm looking for is the picture u see on tram stops. the one that has the route then photo's of things along the route around it - if anyone can find it. fox20thc
Well if you get off at malin bridge you could have an amble down to rivelin. Good stop off points would be Shalesmoor (kelham island) and the University (the museum) Theres the bus museum as you head out towards M'hell. karandak
I'm sure there's some kind of trip you can set up for the trams thing, as it was my friends dads 60th the other month and they arranged for him to drive one of the trams! Dont know the full ins an outs of it, was just bits and bobs i got told, but maybe its worth a look??!
Lindos
Theres the industrial museum at Kelham Island, and the pub there would be a great place for a meal. Theres also the Gipsy Queen, close to Crystal peaks.
