i am looking for information on a knife and fork carving (food) set

 

-on the blade of the knife is ALFRED WILLIAMS

RIVINGTON WORKS

SHEFFIELD ENGLAND

 

-the period of time is probably late 1800s or early 1900s

 

-if any body has information on this subject it would be helpfull

Pay a visit to the Local Studies section at the Central Library and ask them if they have any info on 'Alfred William's 41 Eyre Lane Cutlery Manufacturer'.

 

They have local directories going back to 17hundred and something.
