Trying to argue, when no definition exists is absolutely pointless. It's like two bald men arguing over the merits of different hair conditioners. As a Blades fan, with a bias of course, I feel that some Owls supporters are the main culprits in claiming that they are the "bigger club" when, again, no definition exists for this. Having said that, I do believe that Wednesday have the more established marque overall in the last 50 years at least. I also feel that United have a more progressive organization over the 5-10 years. This, I think, is reflected in their relative current financial situations. What a well reasoned piece of writing. Informative, considered, and eloquent. Of course we all know that Wednesday are the bigger club though. Cos my Uncle told me and he can fight your uncle any day. United are buying Ted Nugent or something i think from Preston. If he's worth 1.75 million, Steve MaClean is worth 4 & Majid Bougherra has already shown interest from 2 Premiership teams willing to pay that. Everton & Middlesborough, but Laws said they'e not selling as they would be playing for Weds in the prem! Scottf, lots of assets & a huge income, i guess your not talking about players! The rest you say i admit is correct! Getting both teams in the premiership & seeing who could attract the bigger names, crowds etc would be the proof of the pud! I used to go away a lot & most of the so called fans looking for trouble were about 40, bald, covered in tattoos & looked like someone that would pull your toe nails out with plyers! I also remember the United fans that used to ang around in town wore farahs & the burbery stuff & were about 18. Never mind, thats all a bit silly. No links sorry, trust me, i'm a Wednesdayite , was in Daily Telegraph about Bougherra. If he was playing for Spurs or any team in the Prem, he would be worth 4 million, no biased bull now, he is worth that! Just like Ted Nugent from preston Hulce will keep you up!
