kingfisher Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 i believe Wilson,s butchers used to be Ernest Allen who kept the shop for many years.He had 2 assistants(one named Charlie and the other Harold) who started working there as youths when E,Allen retired he set up one of the Lads (Wilson)in his shop and the other opened a butchers shop on the lower Manor shopping centre Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
