littlefred
have you check the inner sidewall? has it had puncture repair? does it match the tyre on the other side(brand/model), your tyre takes a lot of forces and on a big car like a galaxy its crazy to put different brand tyre on same axle, unless you dont drive quick and when its raining real had then yes you will be ok! if the tyre is almost new ask yourself why is it for sale? pet-walkiz
A WORD OF WARNING!!! not going to name the place, but my daughter went for a part worn tyre and and ended up almost being killed!! The guy had fitted a part worn tyre with an innertube 2 sizes smaller!!!! it wasnt untill the tyre went down and she had to call to the nearest garage and was informed what the tyre was like and he showed her! so be warned folks... she went back to the guy with the tyre and tube and confronted him, he didnt argue and said he would refund her no problem ......guilt??? remember ..you only get what you pay for . squeakyclean
Yes all ours are the same brand, and the tyre has no indication of damage, its virtually new. To be honest we have always bought new,but after suffering two bad punctures within a month,it was getting a bit expensive. We always buy new ones for our other car, as they are really cheap anyway. cloudybay
It never ceases to amaze me as to why people are willing to risk their lives and those of others for the sake of a few quid. Cheap worn tyres are exactly that, cheap and worn. Don't.

Cheap worn tyres are exactly that, cheap and worn. Don't. How do you make that out? Part worn tyres don't have to be cheap make, they can come in branded form too. Nothing wrong with part worn tyres. If people are that concerned they would be changing their tyres on their own car when partially worn, rather than waiting for them to wear out . kingdon
arent part worn mostly taken from scrap cars? not to some menbers here by looks of things, they think people change tyre when they are bore hence so many 'nearly new tyre', those people dont value they live/passenger family life for the sake of a few £££, different brand/wear tye on a axle is dangerous as you will pull to one side when braking hard(one tyre have more/less grip then the other), so people please use new tyres and change both tyres at the same time! artisan
You are driving on part worn tyres all the time, only when they are brand new are they not part worn. They all have different wear on them as no road or vehicle is perfect. It is better use a good part worn, than a second class new tyre.
