Asmo
Does anyone know of gyms, or sports centres with gyms that do ladies only sessions? Ideally in/near S35/S36 areas.
LadyZone
Hi we are a new ladies-only gymnasium on Ecclesall Road called LadyZone. We are also opening a new site on Middlewood road or at the Hillsborough Barracks in the next month or two that be of interest to you. Please give us a call on 0114 2686841 if you are interested. LadyZone “your 30 minute relaxed workout” is unique because it offers you what many other conventional gyms cannot: Comfort - Members and staff do not need to be young, lean, lycra cladded and mirror obsessive! On the contrary members and staff are regular people achieving common goals with a no-mirror policy. Also the non-intimidating 10 station circuit with simple to use, comfortable, non-aggressive air-resistance equipment creates a friendly atmosphere. Personal Attention – You receive a full introduction to the 30 minute relaxed workout, a personal consultation and close contact from then on. An individual programme will be devised for you by a fully qualified instructor and a review of this programme will take place every 6-8 weeks to measure your progress. We will also monitor your heart rate, blood pressure and body composition to ensure that your fitness is progressing as well as your figure. With two fully qualified gym instructors to assist and motivate at all times our personal contact cannot be beaten. Effective Use of Your Time – Our appointment-only circuit based workout means that members never have to wait for equipment and there are never more than 10 members on a circuit at any one time. This allows a more regular exercise with the total workout time at only 30 minutes easily managed into your lifestyle. It is proven that when exercise is performed little and often it provides the best results. Money Saving – Without the overheads involved in maintaining saunas, pools and masses of equipment LadyZone “your 30 minute relaxed workout” is priced at nearly half the cost of most health clubs. Friendly Atmosphere - All exercises are performed in one large room with women like you working together, to reach similar yet personal goals using a variety of equipment. This creates a very social and motivating atmosphere. We believe that achieving your goals is easiest with the help and motivation from our qualified staff and encouragement from fellow members. Membership fees are £28 per month payable by direct debit or an up front payment of £264 (this is a saving of £72). Membership not only gives you unlimited use of the gymnasium but you will also receive a full consultation (and regular reviews) from our fully qualified personal trainers that covers fitness, nutrition and we also provide an optional consultation with our Lifestyle specialist because often the reasons why people try and fail with their fitness regime is not necessarily the gym but the barriers we face in today’s hectic lifestyle. The cost break down of these consultations alone totals approximately £175 but as a member of LadyZone you get these as standard. Opening times: Mon – Thu 9am - 8pm, Fri 9am – 6.30pm, Sat 10am – 2pm, Sun 11am – 2pm LadyZone “your 30 minute relaxed workout” top ten benefits: 1. Ladies-only. 2. Lose pounds and inches. 3. theHook
Does anyone know of gyms, or sports centres with gyms that do ladies only sessions? Ideally in/near S35/S36 areas. Well, my wife just found one and at first, she couldn't believe it because it is in Spital Hill. Now before anyone jumps down my throat, its not that its in spital hill but when you get off, where Mangala returant is, and then you track back and go roung to top of a very short drive, to turn left to broken desolate building. Anyway, we were invited because we're designing websites and it was closing time anyway. And it looks great, decked with everything - small gym, massage, facial, hairdressings, spa, the works. It is owned by a Muslim woman who is really great and friendly. LadyZone
Our prices are very competitive. The likes of Virgin and Esporta charge monthly prices in the region of 40-55 pounds a month. Not only are we much cheaper but we offer a personal service that cannot be matched in Sheffield. LZ
