Belinkabelle
As belly dancing classes seem to be relatively rare in Sheffield, just thought I'd let you know I tried a beginner's class at Crookesmoor Community Centre last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Details: Thursdays 7.45-8.45pm £3.95 per class The teacher is called Lianne, she's friendly and helpful. I struggled with one of the moves in particular, but I found her instruction very useful. Lianne's number is 07908 731 611 - if you want to have a go next week give her a call to let her know. *wiggle*

Belinkabelle
It's on Crookesmoor Road, going towards Upperthorpe. Their postcode is S6 3FQ if you want to have a look on a map. Hope that helps, maybe see you on Thursday!
SafetyPin
I'm not sure I'll be able to make it this week but if next week you see a small new person with brown hair and a nervous expression wearing a safety pin pendant round her neck, that'll be me! SafetyPin
Hopefully I'll be there as a complete newby this week, showing the world that I do indeed have all the physical co-ordination of a drunken enraged badger. So you probably won't be the worst there!
Gillian*
well we can have competition to see who is the worst! silly question here, but what do you wear for it? just usual gym clothes?

Gillian*
i rang up and asked, she recommended wearing coin belt, long skirt, etc to get in the mood. however i don't have anything like that! she also said that you will need a long scarf/shawl that is a bit longer than your arm span as it will be used in the session! you'll have to let me know what you reckon you're wearing so we both don't stand out like a sore thumb! ha. SafetyPin
Hmm, I have long hippy skirt but all my scarfs are woolly ones... Will be in t-shirt and long skirt methinks... See you there!
