Flight Simmers, have you tried FSX?

My wife bought me Microsoft FSX for Christmas. I have aways had flight sims from FS1 up to FS 2004. I am rather disappointed with this new one. It's a massive load at over 13 gigs, and will only run on the lowest graphics on my system. FS2004 works great. Its clear that its going to need an enhanced video card and some more RAM. I might even need a faster processor even though I'm at 1.8 gigahertz. I think Microsoft could have enhanced 2004 with a lot less than they did. Buyiing a $47 item, and having to spend probably $400 to make it work is not what I want to do.
