Lough Erne in County Fermanagh is popular with fishermen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lough_Erne This is a good Hotel and has 2-bedroom loughside chalets as an option: http://www.killyhevlin.com/tourism_activities.php Enniskillen is in Northern Ireland but quite close to the Republic.
